Atty. Marife M. Lomibao-Cuevas Clerk of Court and JBC Ex Officio Secretary

Atty. Marife M. Lomibao-Cuevas graduated from the University of the Philippines-Diliman with a degree in B.A. Political Science in 1991 and obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the Ateneo de Manila University School of Law in 1995.

Prior to joining the Supreme Court, Atty. Cuevas was a litigation lawyer at the Cuevas Law Office from 1996 to 2000.  She then served as court attorney in the Office of Chief Justice Reynato S. Puno from 2000 to 2010.  Thereafter, she held the position of Court Attorney VI in the Office of the Clerk of Court En Banc from 2010 to 2019.  She was promoted as the Deputy Clerk of Court and Executive Officer on January 21, 2019 before being appointed to her new position as the Clerk of Court.

The Clerk of Court also sits as the Clerk of the Presidential Electoral Tribunal (PET).
